Ok . . . I knew I would get to this section sooner or later. I am interested in upgrading my air filter with a rechargeable one. Is there a such thing as a cold air intake for my 98GS4? Where can I get one? What's the cost? What additional mods are needed for this upgrade?

I have a k&n and I have never had a CEL and this is the first I have read of a CEL being a issue on a gs400 when adding a intake.
The srt intake comes with a chip which has a a/f map on the chip. If you are looking to make the most hp the best way I have seen to do it is by going with a intake other than SRT such as K&N and puting a a/f controller such as the Apexi neo.
With the neo you can adjust your a/f ratios for the intake and any other mods you might do down the line.
I also noticed that you live in CA the k&n intake is the only intake as of now that is carb legal. That was on of the major deciding factors for me as well.
