What's up guys,

I know there's many threads and discussion about turbochargers and superchargers for the 2ISX. But, I'm pretty sure everyone is familiar with the Artisan Twin Turbo IS-F from turbochargers.com. Anyways, I spoke with a representative from turbochargers and supposedly, they have plans for a single turbo kit in the works for the IS350. They already have the test car lined up and something should be ready by the end of this month. I don't know how reliable this is, but figure I share with members who are still interested in the forced induction route. Keep your fingers crossed.

Supercharger > Turbo

Due to the high compression, we wont be able to boost that much and once boost kicks in (unliek an SC) it would be pointless.... i wanna see this when it comes out... hopefully its good but then again the SC is always on boost...

just my .02 cents

Did they say if it's a bolt on kit (which means it'll run the same lame 5 lbs of boost every other FI kit runs) or if they're going to offer a conversion like what they showed on the IS-F

(where you basically rebuild the entire engine with more turbo friendly parts, which would permit a lot more boost, but be pretty insanely costly)

He didn't go into details as what the kit involves, but I told him to keep me in the loop of the on going project. I agree that it might be pretty expensive. Just another option I guess.

Cool information, let us know if they make anything official. I'm still waiting for more 411 about the S. Africa SC kit for the IS250's.
