Well I've never heard of it, but I just did my own google search and from what I can tell yes:

I believe that TEIN USA distributes the parts

http://www.tein.com/products/fujitsubo_legalis_r.html

ex. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FUJIT...QQcmdZViewItem

I dunno though, hopefully some other CL members can clarify this

Here is the YouTube video that has been up for two years...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMllPLga7WE

Is that what you're looking for or is the "R" a newer version?

^ website says 83dB, and Tanabe is apparently <93dB. I wonder which is quieter. Is the Legalis a full cat-back?

i found this: "At idle, the Fujitsubo Legalis-R noise level is approximately 77dB. At 4800 RPM, the Fujitsubo Legalis-R noise level is approximately 91dB."
on this website: http://www.raceinspired.com/p-9826-f...0-2006-up.aspx
I wonder what the tanabe medalion touring is at idle and at 4800rpm?

My impression was the Tanabe was always under 93 db....which suggests to me they're probably similar.

I wish there was a way to know, because the tanabe is a lot cheaper. Even if the tanabe is 92dB or 93dB that's actually quite a difference, and i wonder what its noise level at idle is? it could be in the 80s for all we know..

The marketing info says <93 db for tanabe... I'd translate that as 92 db max for the system...because if it was 91 max they'd advertise it as <92.

I can tell you from personal experience at idle it's indistinguishable from stock inside the vehicle.

^ that's good to know. I wonder if there's a way we could find out what the dB is at idle for the Tanabe.

You could buy a meter and check someones car... or you can listen to a stock lexus since it's gonna be pretty much identical.

I googled around and found someone with an STI who measured and found a 2 db increase from stock exhaust at idle, and I'd be surprised if there was any more difference than that on a Lexus as well (despite the stock exhaust on the lexus being quieter).

I have an SC ive had a cat back legalis R for 2 years now. still shiney..very strong welds..at idle ive walked away form the car and not even realized it was on. I have to say its a great investment . I installed it myself with no experience doing it before and with no directions..very easy to install ..I hope you get the exhaust you will be very pleased with your choice
