Default auto supra diff question

hey guys, im interested in getting a auto LSD supra rear diff and just wanted to know if all i need is the pumpkin/carrier or do i need the supra axles also?

i would love to help you out.. but i dont sell my oem parts.. incase the day comes that i put it back to stock.. i have all sorts of oem parts laying around

Fine then. I will steal it. I can give you mine back. I just need one so I dont have downtime when I install the LSD. If anything I can borrow it while the LSD is installed in mine, then give yours back when mine is done.

ki... how can i have a junkyard double check if the diff im interested in in cali is really the lsd one.. it seems that in 97 and 98 lsd wasnt on all the auto TT supra's... anything i can have him look for or a certain part number that will differentiate the two?

I don't know. Check with Mike at 355. I usually bug him with all my Toyota Specific ?'s.

Have them open it up and look at it, I think it's just 8 bolts to take the case apart. There's a good thread around somewhere on how to tell if it's LSD and make sure it's what you're looking for. I think bananags was the op (old thread obviously )in the thread I'm thinking of if that helps you find it.

so i just came across an Aristo V300 auto diff which is essentially the same thing as the auto supra diff.. apparently the only difference is some cooling fins.. i know.. if it was in an aristo it should fit just fine.. but you never know so i wanted to just throw the question out there if for any reason someone thinks that it wont fit in a usdm GS... Thanks!
