Default another gte vs ge question.

Would the GTE and GE motors both be the same cost wise and power wise moderatly to completely built with the same parts (cams, heads, etc)?

I'm thinking of doing my turbo build, getting it up and running, and picking up either a gte or ge, depending on which one you guys think I should go with to hold my "long run power goals (650-750whp)."

That's what I was thinking. But I don't want the car to sit. Ex. pulling the ge, tearing it apart, rebuilding it and dropping it back in vs. having a ge or gte built on a stand that I can pull the old ge and drop the new one in.

Thanks for your input!

GTE!!!! over the long time.... the gte will handle 650-750 whp on stock block with good tuning. 800 is max. Which translates in your case less down time. cams, fuel, tuning, big single and your at 600 easy but you will come into tranny issues as well. IMO even though not ever owning a GE... Its nothing more then a over grown paper weight if your pursuit is power...
