i have a hks non-lexus with silencers on.. sounds good.. but after a year or so of having them on, I'm sick of it and want to go back to stock. Before you spend money on getting an exhaust I URGE you to listen to them in-person and also keep your stock exhaust just in case you wanna go back.

p.s if u go HKS.. go with HKS with silencers.. imo sounds way better. HKS alone is too loud.

I just installed my Greddy SE on my AWD last week and I love it. The burnt tips actually look extremely sexy when you see it in person. Hardly any drone in cabin and has a nice deep sound to it. I doubt you would be dissapointed.....

what is your definition of
"GOOD" sound exhaust?
freaking loud?
loud enough for you to notice?
little louder than stock?

deep sound at WOT?

if you want anything at WOT, then I suggest that you get an INTAKE
if you want something little louder than Stock
go with Tanabe (and most people are very happy with it)
if you want something louder than Tanabe but quiter than HKS Hi-Power
than you can get, JoeZ, Fsports, Lexus HKS, Greddy SE
if you get Tanabe or any other exhaust and want to lose the droning and make it littler louder and deeper, then you should add Megan Mid-pipe

if you wanna get good sound and be one of a kind, then go with Fabolous or Wald exhaust (JDM) but it will cost you an arm or a leg

before you purchase anything, I suggest that you LISTEN to it in PERSON

I personally would go with the Lexus HKS first and than maybe the F-Sport and Tanabe. If you check the classified section, you'll find some for sale at reasonable prices.

F-Sport wont void any warrantys and it looks hidden on the car and has a nice deep sound to it.

Thats why this dude is on air, ez access for wheel chairs. He no longer have legs after he traded them for the quad pipes

Personally I feel if you want the look, just get muffler tips.

Stuff like Tanabe it only make sounds below 3k revs. So when you wanna drive sporty the car is silent as stock.

So I feel only get exhaust if you want to be loud as **** so get the loudest HKS/Megan you can find lol

and I agree that most exhaust will only add sound below 3k~3.5k,,anything above can be covered from the INTAKE,,so if you want some sound at WOT, it's better of to just get an intake

am I the one of the FEW that actually saw and heard the Fabulous??
I only heard it when it was first installed, and it sounded nice, but I know it got NICER because I'm pretty sure it needed a little time to break-in
BTW, it's not loud,,just hum in your ear~!
