Problem solved. Welcome Shawn!

Guys, I'm moving this out of the main forum to the performance section, but I'll leave a redirect for a week so anyone who needs to know where it went can find it.

Donor flywheel has not arrived yet.

EDIT: UPS notification places the flywheel here at Fidanza on Friday this week.

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to give some input here. On my old "tuner car", which was a 96 Dodge Neon DOHC 5 speed MT, I installed the Fidanza Aluminum flywheel. I don't remember how much it cost at the time, but I do remember that after adding that, it was the most impressive gain that I had in my car.

I had upgraded the exhaust with a full catback system, put an Indy Intake manifold which I polished by hand and a Dremel, an Iceman Cold Air Intake, new Mopar Performance Computer, and a slew of other things...

The Fidanza flywheel made that little 2.0L scream through the first 3 gears like you wouldn't believe....It seriously freed up some horsepower. And you must remember, as in tires....Rotational inertia helps with horsepower free-up way more than something that isn't. If you put smaller, lighter rims on your car, you will more than likely have better 1/4 mile times. Same concept here.

Pair this with an Underdrive pulley (do they make one for the IS?) and it should be a phenomenal difference, in atleast the bottom 3 gears, for about $600 total.

Good luck to everyone with MT that is getting the Fidanza. I am sure it will be worth it.

We'll have the pricing by Monday so long as Fidanza receives the FW tomorrow.
