Default Joe Z/PTS Exhaust for IS250 OPINIONS!!!

I was thinking of getting the Joe Z exhaust for my IS250, this will be my first mod on this car, and i wanted to get your guy's opinion on it. I've heard it in person and it sounds awesome, and its a true dual system, i wanted to know if anyone else out there has this system on their IS250 or even 350 and what you think about it? Did you notice the power gains?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. What I'm wondering though, is how many other 250's have the JoeZ exhaust, and was it worth it for them?

Do a search. JoeZ has posted actual dyno results from both his exhausts and intakes for both models.

I haven't seen posted results on an IS250. Seen them for the 350.

I would rather keep the Lexus HKS and save your money for something else..

You would get only 10 WHP for $1500

Would probably be cheaper just to get a custom exhaust done.

^^^ That all depends on how a "pro muffler" shop makes the custom system.

I have seen custom exhausts in the range of $2,000 at muffler shops..

Not much to squeeze out of the IS350's.. 10-12 is what we were getting on the system with out secondary cats...

Ironically the Lexus HKS also has a $1,470 MSRP for just an axle back system.. In case you didn't know..

Later today we will be installing a Race System on an IS250 here in SoCal. So we should have some nice videos of that.. Not sure if the owner plans to dyno, but I would expect better gains on the IS250..

Also, PTS is not your average everyday muffler shop. They are a manufacturer for many leading brands / private label companies out there for "other" makes & models.

Regards,

Joe Z

Yes, that $1500 is for dealer price. But who buys things from the dealer now days anyways? There is something called L-tuned and Sewell. They had Lexus HKS for low $1000. I remember seeing it on ebay for high $900 shipped from one of the Lexus dealership few months ago. To put this in perspective, if anyone decide to go Joez route, it will cost $500-600 for an extra 5 WHP.
