IMO this mod is absolutely positively worth the price.
If you think adding an intake sounds like a 300hp car now, wait until you add the F Sport exhaust.

I'm nervous it will be too loud, that's the only thing stopping me...but comments like that make me want to get it tomorrow.

If anyone in Central FL has this setup, please come give me a ride

It is pretty loud, but its the kind of loud that is music to your ears. So don't be nervous, you will seriously enjoy the sound even more.

And let me take a quote from my cousin -when he first heard the sound from far.

I call my cuz at his home and said I'm around the corner go outside your door now. I'm closing in at 4th gear steady at 3500RPM. My cousin said, "WTF...I never heard a sedan (not even the Ms or AMGs) sound as good as your IS! That s##t is mean, almost sounds like a GTR...I want!!"

The F-sport intake makes a nice little growl in a certain (fairly narrow) rpm range.

Anyone who thinks it's really loud though has never been in a genuinely loud car (like a V8 with a big-cam stroker motor for example.... the type of car that sets off car alarms just idling past parked vehicles)

f-sport intake + f-sport exhaust is an awesome combination...although you can't go wrong with the joez either. i only went with the f-sport intake cause i'm in cali and wanted to be on the safe side of things..plus it looks damn sexy

so, is the consensus with this intake that there is minimal to no noise difference at idle or lower rpm's? i was hoping for a little more "noise" throughout, not just after 3,500. also, i see some 250's, but mostly 350's responding. are the 250's as pleased with the results?

I met up with a CL member to hear his F-Sport combo. I had watched a lot of videos online, but nothing compared to hearing it person. And he was kind enough to take me for a ride and step on the gas. I ordered the intake/ehaust the next day. I will put it on next week.
