Default Tanabe Exhaust: How can I get the tips to stick out further?

I was wondering if there was a cheap or possibly free way I could get my Tanabe's tips to stick out a little further? I have the GFX kit and the tips look a bit sunk in. Anything I could do to pull these out about 2 inches?

only way is to cut them off and weld a few inches of pipe onto it then reweld it back to the muffler, which is expensive and probably ugly. Your are prolly better off selling the tanabe and finding a new exhaust that has a longer tip. I also have gfx rear and tanabe, imo it doenst look too bad and its not sunken in so far that it burns the body kit, so it doesnt really bother me.

I heard the megan mid pipe extends your exhaust out a little bit, no idea how much. Can someone confirm? Don't want to give out false information

If you were going to have it rewelded I wouldn't do it the way mentioned above. Instead of cutting where the tip is, cut behind the canister itself and have it extended that way. The weld wouldn't be so noticeable. Just go to a muffler shop, it shouldn't be more than $50 bucks. Atleast I wouldn't pay more than that. That's probably the cheapest way.

I think it looks perfectly fine. It gives it more of a flush look.

My tips are modified with Magnaflow tips but my exhaust is Lexus HKS. They stick out a bit with GFX kit compared to yours. The tips are not cheap about $50 each. I actually prefer the flush look. The ones that I have look a bit busy and they are not angled like Tanabe so they look more stick out.

The "free" way would be to take off the rear GFX.
