I bought a case of Amsoil tranny fluid last fall and I finally got a chance to use it. Here is the way I did it
1) drained the tranny from the drain plug.
2) reinstalled drain plug
3) disconnected the cooler hose on the passenger side. (need to remove engine undercover).
4) placed large bucket under hose
5) pour one litre amsoil down dipstick tube
6) start engine and watch fluid pump out of cooler hose.
7) after about 30seconds when fluid start sputtering out instead of full flow stop engine.
8) repeated steps 5-7 until 12 litres are used up
9) reinstalled cooler hose and engine undercover.
10) checked tranny fluid and topped up as necessary.
Sure hope this Amsoil stuff is good for the Lex. I have used it before in my Cressida but not sure how the Lex will respond. I'll keep you guys posted if things go sour.
