Unfortunately I am in the same boat, but I don't want to drop 2-3 grand for a few horsepower, and hit a wall. Unlike the 2J guys there is a large aftermarket, and the sky is the limit. I am a V8 guy, and I was born and raised on domestic muscle. This reason alone is the reason why I purchased the 430, instead of the GS300. Hoooowever... I am currently in the process of turning over a LS400 for a little bit of profit. Once that happens, I am then going to tell the GS as well. This is to purchase a cheap GS300, and I will be purchasing as JDM 2JZ with a 6 speed, and going single. I'd really just like to purchase a Supra, but I don't have that kind of change. And after reading and doing enough research, if you talk to most people who TT a 1/2/3uz, they almost all wished they wouldn't have, and I am also not trying to drop $30,000 to run sub 12's.

Install a set of S&S headers to gain around 20hp. The power is improved at all RPMs and is quite noticeable.
Install a Precision Industries 2600 rpm stall (standard PI stall for Lexus is 2800) Not more power but more performance of line and in gear changes. Seems like the 430s get a check engine light if you go with the 2800rpm stall. Those with the 2600 stall seem to avoid the check engine light. Stock is under 2000rpm so the change is still substantial.
The SRT intake has mixed reviews.
Dyno tuning should give more power but not sure if the computer will adjust back to stock after some time. Jury may be out on that.
