Given Mazzuris headers dynoed a gain of roughly 0 horsepower on a 350 it'd be pretty hard NOT to improve on them :P

It was theorized there might have been some torque gains, at an rpm lower than a dyno could accurately measure on the IS350 automatic.
That may or may not have been true, but we never got any further data... (something like controlled conditions 1/4 mile runs might have shown if there were any actual gains if a dyno was unable to do so)
I'm with you though, based on the barely measurable gains from most intakes and exhaust and the non-results we got from the mazzuri prototypes, I'll be surprised if there's really that much there to free up with headers.

I'm not going to get very involved in this, but the 2GR-4GR motor design does not allow for the scavaging effect to happen. This is why we didn't see any gains the last go-around. Only one piston is firing into the exhaust header at a time. Most other motors have two. Large short runners with high flow cats will produce the most gains! The shorter the header is; the more gains we'll see. Sort of... Just remember CFM in should be > then CFM out. Otherwise the motor will have no back pressure. That doesn't work on N/A motor designs.

No back pressure? And an engine needs back pressure? Surely you jest. Actually your large diameter short runners create a LOT of back pressure. But read the link. It talks about all of it.
