Greddy is a little louder (Which I prefer), but there is no drone. There is a difference between droning and the pur of the exhaust. I do have the older Greddy, if it makes a difference. If I'm not mistaken, the only difference is the tips. Try and hear the Greddy live. The Tanabe is way to quiet!

I just got my Greddy SE this weekend. I have to say it is alot quieter than the Tanabe. On my first drive with the Greddy on, I though forgot to install the exhaust on...lol. There is almost no droning compared to the Tanabe. You can search my old post where I sold my Tanabe because the droning got too annoying. As far as the burnt tip... it's not for me. I bought the exhaust anyways because I like the sound and the style of the tip and I know the burnt part can be polished. I actually dropped it of at the polisher this morning. I think the burnt tip does look good on some cars but it's not the look I want for my car.

Please post photos of the finished product. I want to see how it looks polished.

If you are looking for a louder exhaust, then the Greddy SE might not be for you. the HKS Hi-power maybe a better choice. Anyways you should try to listen to it in person.
