not much HP
most custom Quad exhaust are done by replacing the tips only
and some cases, it's just axle back exhaust, so there isn't much HP gain

I felt little fuel reduction when I got my Quad exhaust and that's only because I floor it every time to hear sexy a$$ exhaust tone

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is2...exhaust-5.html

a member called "IS350" recently said in this post (link above) that wald had stopped making them. and YES i would like to get my hands on a WALD QUAD EXHAUST BADLY!

so how much Hp would wald quad exhaust give? any signficant reduce of fuel economy? hows the sound? is there a link, website, a place? where i can get my hands on a wald quad exhaust?

i am kind of saving money for a wald rear bump lip right now, my plan is to get the bumper lip first then install the wald quad exhaust

it's an axleback system and as such would give only nominal gains.

considering the price/performance ratio of the wald exhaust system for the 2is, it's grossly overpriced and is nothing more than a bragging rights part.

personally, i have no preference for it, but to each his own.

TRC produces a quad exhaust:

This is what it looks like with their new rear bumper:

Here's their site:
http://www.trc-tuning.com/index_shop.htm

I believe someone on here has the kit. They also have a soundclip over on youtube.

There is also the new Tom's IS45 kit:

Hope this help and happy modding!

well, keep in mind that you will need to CUT and SHAVE your rear bumper in order to fit the quad exhaust
and even after shaving, it will look weird unless you put a rear lip which will also need to be cut and shaved
so for Wald,,
Retail 1900 plus shipping plus tax plus shaving the rear bumper plus rear lip plus shaving rear lip plus installation is your COST

also i am thinking about getting this first before the quad exhaust

http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/w...6-p-65898.html

Wald won't give you 20 hp. It'd be around 10 hp tops. Ask Seoul for the exact numbers lol. :P

But yeah... Get Wald if you want to be exclusive, balling, and for the looks. Otherwise, get an alternative or have quad tips welded on.

And yes Seoul, I agree with you. Wald looks much better. :P
Although, I have to say Javy's 911 tips.

Now that everyone is trying to get Wald. I need to find something different lol.

do I feel the 20HP gain?? hm~~~
I think I lost performance cuz I carry extra two exhaust tips.....LOL
and I gotta say that I might have to look into some different exhaust since more people are trying to go Quad...

well at least I'll be one of the FEW with WALD Quad for a while...

Hahaha...
You may have lost 2hp, but you've gained the awe factor without a doubt!
Since the Wald exhaust has apparently been discontinued (for the US at least; I bet if you have a Japanese contact, you should still be able to get it), you will still be one of the few. Aren't you the only one on CL?

Mmmhmm... Well, what do you think of rectangular exhausts? (Not the muscle car type, but more like the new Merc S-class's, BMW 7-er's, and of course the LS's...) But don't mind me... Just thinking out loud!

Quick Reply: anymore Quad exhaust for IS 250/350?
