Also I am go to the pursuit on Sunday. Hopefully a better time than stock, and I will also be hitting the dyno soon to see with the new pipes and intake to see the true hp and torque gains. Hopefully there is something. Wish me luck.

Mainly this is to help some one not wanting new exhaust as getting some sound outta their IS.
I want to get the same setup as soon as it becomes available for my car. How loud is it compared to a G37?

it stays pretty quiet when at idle and just cruising. then when you romp on it, it gets loud. compared to any G its more subtle. hopefully today i can get the video going. i just havent had time to do it latly. but as you read on this forum. there is no way to get our car to sound like a g35/37. but you can make them sound a hell of a lot meaner and deeper than those cars. check this exhaust out tho

its sounds great. but if you dont want axle back. just stick with the pipes. this vendor is doin a great deal on both

^^I also just put on my Invidia midpipes and it sounds like a beast. After having it on for a week it finally settle down after a thousand miles. I say the quality is pretty good at a good price.

I, too, highly recommend getting the Invidia midpipes through Chris at Team SNS. I am very happy with the craftsmanship, welds, and overall fitment of the midpipes. It was also an exceptional deal compared to Megan Racing.

Invidia FTW!!!!!

a pm i got so i figured i would put this on here

that is actually a good question im gunna throw that on the thread.
but anyways, no it didnt throw a cel on the car. and for smog purposes our cars have 2 sets of cats. our primaries are used for emissions and ca law. our secondary cats are used to lower emissions even more... way past emissions standards. our cars are built extremely efficient and will pass smog as long as we do not remove the primaries.

also our secondaries are used for supressing noise also. thats why they are little and not as large as the first ones.

if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. and if you are looking to get these pipes let me know.

Thanks

i took it to a shop. i would have done it myself. but of course the only o2 sensor tool i didnt have was the one for newer lexus. that is the only thing difficult on this. but it is definetly do able. i would definetly say GO FOR IT. it sounds great on our cars
