the sound it makes when sitting in my garage sounds nice. When im on the road its a whole new story. its soooo loud and bassy now, i was setting off car alarms going up my hill on the way home from the exhaust shop.
as for vids, i could only do one in the garage, but that would be way off and not accurate of how annoyingly loud it really is.

i think the fact i have tanabe makes it worse. tanabe is semi quiet, but it has a really deep bassy sound. So resonator delete made it a LOUD, STRONG bassy sound, which seriously hurts my ears. It feels like im sitting in front of a subwoofer.

Before you make such a bold statement, you should post a vid so we can see if it really is. =P

ok, just messed around with the exhaust and did some video with a video recorder on a phone, so im not sure on the quality. Its loud from both outside and in the cabin, but much louder from inside the cabin than outside.
Well ill post the vid later if it is of decent quality.

Hi all, should I remove the resonator in my set-up?
I just installed JoeZ with HKS drop-in for which I was very sure wasn't going to make a sound difference, but was what made more sense for the cheap HP gain insted of a loud/expensive short ram intake that would feed on hot air.
What I thought was going to be loud, was the HKS hi-power cat-back exhaust, even though a lot a people say are the loudest, I am disappointed because it was not that loud at all, while it does make a difference, it is only at low RPM's (about 1,500-2500) that I can really feel it, this is probably what most people call "drone sound" and I kind of enjoy that bass feel/sound mainly perhaps because I drive short trips in the city and not much highway.
Any advise would be helpfull, especially if you have the same set-up thanks in advance, I may do it today.
