So i'm guessing PPE Engineering's efforts will be a lost cause?

I almost ordered these from Chris @ SNS when i ordered my mid pipes but changed my mind because i don't want it too be a super loud ricy sound. Plus i heard installation is a biznatch.

install is actually not as hard as one would think. If you have installed headers on any car before you should be able to do these, but there really is not point.

I could probably do the header install with one other person in less than 2hrs now. It took me and a friend, who is a master mechanic about 3hrs to install them the very first time on jack stands. We took them off and put the manifold back on in less than 2hrs. I think mazzuri said it took him 5hrs his first time, and some dude in florida said it took them about 4hrs. It wasn't fun on jackstands, but doing it once makes the next go around much easier.

Keep your 250 stock and use that gixxer in your sig for speed. No reason to try to make a 3600+lbs 200hp car fast. It just wont work. Your best bet is to take it to the dealer and get a 350 or some FI car.

It took me 3hrs on the first try. Most likely now it'll be about 2 on my next set of headers.

Originally i wasn't even going to do any performance mods, but my stock airbox had a huge hole in it, so i got a fujita, and for sound only purposes got greddy sp2 + invidia mid pipes. I don't speed in the IS at all, maybe i'll gun it from 0-40 when i'm at a red light and late for work but the bike produces the majority of my adrenaline.

I would love a 350, but that means i need to sell my 250 and my bike

Default Megan racing headers?

Hi, This is my first post on CL and I'm a recently new owner of a is250. Ive already done a few mods such as new TSW rims, cold air intake, and tinted tail lights, but I'm trying to start adding performance and sound mods to it. I just installed the F-Sport cold air intake and it sounds amazing. Still having the stock exhaust on my car, would adding racing headers (particularly megan racing) or any other company sound good?
Thank Guys! -kylew19

if you just want sound get an invidia mid pipe, but if you want sound and performance, get the ppe headers.
