Really? wow...

We got a Tanabe for my g/f's like a week or two after she bought her IS and took it to the dealer for the complimentary oil change and they said nothing about it. Not all dealers are the same so some may care while others may not.

if you're so concerned about your factory warranty, either keep the oem exhaust system, or buy an f-sport exhaust and get it installed @ an authorized lexus service center so it'll stay concurrent with the factory warranty. those are your only two choices without voiding the factory warranty that covers the exhaust system.

The only way your exhaust warranty can be voided is if the manufacture can prove the aftermarket exhaust has caused a failure. This is highly unlikely! I would not give this a second thought.

My Greddy SP2 was bought at the dealer and affected my warranty none.

Then again if you were talking about a full exhaust...new mid-pipes that get rid of secondary cats might indeed pose an issue with your dealer.

what ever part of your exhaust you replace can only void what you replaced and what comes after it.
