Limpart, I thought you said that you installed the O2 extensions?? They need to be welded onto the midpipe above the original O2 sensor bung. THAT'S what those two pieces are, and that's why you're still getting CELs.

I can post a pic showing how they look installed if you need.

I don't think that these two pieces called extensions, I thought that extensions were cables which were included) Yes plz, do me a favour show me pics) I tried to put somewhere these 2 pieces but didn't find a place for them) Anyway why I had so big space between midpipe and headers?( But really feel difference in performance with lights on, car felt less agressive with them, it's my private opinion

^^^ Nope, those are the O2 sensor extensions - they "extend" the O2 sensor away from the midpipe. Take your car to an exhaust shop and tell them to weld them on like this:

You'll obviously have to drill a hole into your midpipe to connect the extender to. And don't forget to seal the original O2 sensor bung.

Do not drill the hole too big! I forgot the exact size PPE recommends but call Paul and ask him before you do. And you will need O2 sensor plugs.

I live in alpharetta which is in atlanta. and does it really cost 925 for the whole thing? i would think that the labor would cost more than 275. i would prob just buy the headers and cats online just to get brand new ones.

ya labor is around 300 and if you buy it from ppe then you will get 02 conditioner which cuts down your labor time and no need to weld anything.

Hi guys. I was out for some time. I installed headers correctly as you advised me and all lights went off. Thanks a lot for your help.

But after I installed headers, there a new problem appeared. I don't know how exactly to explain but I will try. When I pressure gas to the floor at high speeds at about 6000-6500, it doesn't shift up, like something holds it and there is a feeling that car doesn't move faster. There is also a noise like a car chokes. Especially it happens when I ride at 60-80, little kick and after floor, and nothing, big noise from exhaust like shootings. I went to mechaniks, they changed me spark plugs and coils, but it didn't give any result. And I can say for sure that it happens after installing headers.

I don't know if you understand something from my pure English. But anyway I will be glad to hear from you any advice.

Thanks!

is it hitting the rev limiter? or it just isnt shifting when you think it should shift?

On a side note, I got my inspection done yesterday and everything was all clear. I'm using the 02 conditioners that PPE has been sending with their headers and it's all good. Got the 02 ready status right away.

When i floor, it's hitting the rev limiter at 6000-6500, after there is a sound like shooting from exhasut. These shootings continues about 5-7 seconds, at this moment speed doesn't increase, there is a feeling like car stands at one place and doesn't move faster, power doesn't increase.

I welded O2 extensions. And all lights went off. Was there any special instruction how to weld them?

Thanks
