4gr-fse
L- 17150-3110
R- 17140-3110

2gr-fse
L-17150-31120
R-17140-31120

I actaully checked this out yesterday because i wanted to find out if my IS300 had the same manifold part numbers as the IS350 or 250

however i do remeber that there are diff model numbers for prodcution dates of (06- aug07), (aug07 - 08) and 09.

Ill verify later on today the diff remaining part numbers for the different model years

Ok here it is w production dates

2GR-FSE (4GR-FSE, GSE20, 21)

R: 17140-31120 (2005/ 08 - 2008/02)
L: 17150-31120 (2005/ 08 - 2008/ 08 -present)

R: 17140-31340 (2008/ 02 - 2008/ 08)
L: 17150-31120 (2008/ 08 - present)

4GR-FSE (GSE25)

R:17140-31110 (2005/08 - 2008/08)
L:17150-31120 (2005/ 08 - 2008/03)

R: 17140-31110 (2008/08- present )
L: 17150-31490 (2008/03- 2008/08 - present)

It seems like on the IS350 fits on IS250, and the GS's
But the 250 wont fit/isnt suitable for the 350

In 2005, the shared the same left side header. By 2008/08 , both had unique part numbers.

I foud this info by browsing the TOYOTA ELECTRONIC PART CATALOGUE SYSTEM V1.0 L40 R060

here is what it looks like, not sure if its the same system the lexus/toyota dealers use:

wonder why the change. I mean I know that companies use different part number sometimes even though they are the same, like the gas tank on a 6th gen civic and a RSX. Same part, but differing part numbers with H and A represending Honda and Acura.

Its so they know to markup the price another 100% more for the part number "A" instead of "H" :P haha... lame but true

Just to check, the primary cats do get removed but they can weld high-flow cats to your exhaust? So if your exhaust already had secondary cats, you'd have a total of four cats on your exhaust?

Yes.

They told me they want to build a new exhaust for the car as well. One that will bolt-up to the headers and hopefully produce as much power as possible with the two mods. I'm excited if they do this.

The secondary CATs though are useless. New cars don't pollute much at ALL anymore. Even if you remove them and keep the primary set on, you will still pass all emissions. They are just extra restriction and prevention of opening up the true potential of our engines, lol.

Hopefully they will make a new exhaust to match the headers. I can just feel this car being capable of 300RWHP with basic bolt-ons.. FEEL IT!!

Members, just an FYI that this thread is to be for information only - there cannot be any sales-related information discussed here until PPE decides to become or make the headers available through an approved Club Lexus vendor. Thanks for your understanding.

well, you won't pass a visual emissions inspection, which many states still do....

and the secondary cats rob like 1-2 hp, not much of a restriction really.

If you want to pass a visual inspection but dont want to have your cats its really easy to hollow them out

Or you can just leave em alone since they have virtually no impact on performance

How would you not pass a visual emissions inspection? Not every car has a second set of CATs..
