If you do it, I will love you forever! If not... well then it'll just be another one of those "these are the reasons why the IS can never be super/turbocharged..." posts.

Good luck and do some magic!

Brian,

I replied to your PM!!

*****
As a side note I have dyno'd and R&D on over a half dozen IS350's in the past several years..

On a good "Dynojet" Dyno testing machince and using the proper gear with correct parameters...

... The base numbers should be around 265 RWHP - or rear wheel horse power.
SAE Corrected with smoothing set to 5

Measurement of percentage of Factory Rated Base HP (306) to Dyno Tested Base RWHP (265) was an approx. 14% loss to the wheels during our independent testing.

This was the Sedan of course and would expect close to or the same Base numbers for an IS350C..

doing a forced-induction setup on the 2is is possible, but then there are the issues of how much it will cost and how much additional power it will produce.

It should work, I have a feeling the system is going to be really identical to the LMS supercharger that also used a C2

Really identical?! It's the exact same thing, unless he actually does pull out .5-1.5lbs more of boost.

isuxel are there videos of your sc is 350 in action and/or dragtime slips?

I remember seeing one video but I was told that your setup was somewhat dysfunctional at the time and therefore the video was clearly not representative of what an lms sc is 350 can do.

Now, I have a flicker account and I will be taking photo's of this complete install for future reference. I'm going to put on my boys dyno with video before this car leaves for SEMA. I need to make sure it runs a drives so when she gets home from SEMA we have a product kit ready to roll. Doing my math, there is just no way this car will NOT make less then 75hp over stock. I really think at 5-6psi we can do around 100hp, NO DOUBT! Been doing this to long to be wrong..haha.
Assuming 100% efficiency and no heat gain (which is impossible but that's another post) adding 6 psi to the stock engine will add a lot of power. Gross gain at the crank is 125 hp. Accounting for efficiency, it will be a lot less, but 75 might be possible with some help. FWIW, there's about 20 hp per psia assuming no detonation and no other heat related issues.

My friend with the 335i that I raced in the first video has our latest run and it clearly shows how retarded my car was before when the belt was slipping LOL. It's not the fastest but it'll hold its own

BTW I don't know where that video is haha
