the newer versions have the engraving. i asked, because im wondering if the engraving is the only thing that has changed in the newer version.

yes, that is the ONLY thing that has changed - a small (and if you have a kit, (gfx, vertex, ect...) the engraving wont be visable anyway.

the engraving is a small detail that won't go noticed my 99% of people. the 1% is you, lol

I am debating if I should go with F-sport exhaust or the Tanabe. Anyone have experience with these combinations:

F-sport exhaust - K&N Typhoon intake
Tanabe exhaust - K&N Typhoon intake

or should I just redo the whole system and do F-sport exhaust and F-sport intake? The only difference I know of now is that going the F-sport exhaust route would be more money and if I do the whole system it would even cost more because I would have to replace the K&N Typhoon intake. Sewell is having a sale on the intake so that helps.

^^^ hook up with Hoovey2411, the one who helped you with the exhaust, he got an extra F-Sport intake, check with him to see if it is still available.

Your analysis is right on. That bassy sound from Tanabe is the main reason I HATED that exhaust.
