All the bolt-on mufflers only are extremely easy to install. I'd ask 2 friends to come. One can hold the muffler while you remove and put on the bolts. How about the other one? In case you need another hand.

Having a lift and air tools makes the job a lot easier...

A cooler of Heineken will make the job go a lot faster...

I just did a set. Took all of 1 hour on my garage floor with the car on jack stands. One of the easiest jobs I have ever done.

I started to do it (got my left old one off) but decided that without ramps, help from someone else, it was just going to be a pain. My dealer did it for $70. For me, that was a good decision.

$70 for changing the mufflers? How much does the dealer charge per hour generally?

It costed my friend $20 to put on the Borla and costed me $40 for the cat-back. (yeah, I was lazy that day)

I think their hourly rate is $72. If you're saying I overpaid, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Everyone has to decide what their time is worth, and for me $70 was a no brainer to have someone else get dirty installing mufflers correctly.
