IS350 with V8 sound?
Hi, I think I read it in here b4, but was there an exhaust and intake combo that can produce close to an V8 sound for the 2IS?
what combo was that?
also, which company makes the F-Sport exhaust? was it tanabe?

Every manufacturer's engine will sound slightly different. For example, a small block chevy sounds noticeably different from a small block ford. Add to that that different exhaust/cat back/header options can make a difference in sound.
But, what won't change is that expecting V8 sound from a 6cyl is almost impossible due to design.
Also, F-sport exhaust + F-sport intake DOES NOT EQUAL V8 sound. No offense to others, but I honestly think that most that say otherwise only say it based on hear-say....
Here's some honest comparisons that both me and mdgrwl did coming from a Tanabe with F-sport intake to F-sport exhaust and intake:

Sure, it's nice and I love the combo, but it sure as heck doesn't sound like any v8 mustang.

Purchase the IS-F v8 crate motor and install it in your car. That should be a good start! LOL
Just kidding man, but honestly I think you'll need to compromise on exhaust tone. These cars 250/350 just don't sound like a V8. Can you make them growl? Yes. V8 like a Mustang or Camaro? Not quite.

Yes, I understand that this is an V6, That why I ask which combo can produce a sound close to there V8, doesn't have to be 100% V8 sound, for those who have heard the BWM's V8 sound b4, thats the sound I want to get close to.
