also you dont have to dont have to reset anything or unplug the battery if you dont want too, but its a good idea to reset the ecu(by unpluging the negative for bout a min) you may get a warning light after you install it but i should go away in a day or two. hope it help.

If you want to install the Takeda, make sure you bring your thinking cap. Takes a lot of finagling. I love the sound, but hated having to install it. I have owned 5 cars this last year alone and that was by far the hardest intake i have ever touched. AFE make Takeda just FYI. I think L-S-D said he loves his Fujita and had easy installation with it. Might wanna take a look at it.
Hope i Could help you,

Lowest cost, best performance, and by far easiest install. No need to reset or disconnect anything, the ECU is always learning on its own.

thank you for all of your answers! Now, all i need to know is:
will this benefit my performance (+hp)?
are there any negatives to an intake?
oh and i plan to buy the Fujita intake.

No real negatives besides they're louder if you prefer a quiet car. (Joe Z being the least loud, then F-sport, then the open-element intakes)
