Wow, those are big numbers and high boost, 24psi. Has anyone found out at what psi the heads start to lift or the block deflects and the engine pushes water? I know on LSx engines going over 20-22psi starts to get into the range where you can start lifting the heads even with LS9 head gaskets and studs over torqued.

Can't wait to see what it makes in the car. Also what transmission do you plan to put behind this beast? Edit TH400, had to go back and read.

870 at the crank will probably put down about 650 to the wheels through a TH400. Looking forward to seeing how she runs.

There haven't been updates since much hasn't been done since it was dyno'd. I dropped the engine back into the car today. I should be putting everything back together for most of this week. Main thing that holding us up now is a custom flex plate that is being made. But most everything else should be downhill from here. I'll put some more effort in giving up dates since we're making real headway. Thanks for your interest in this project.

We're definitely going to run it. It better be faster than his Mclaren MP4 otherwise he's going to burn the Lexus to the ground.

the history of my gs started off simple with just the pi torque converter and srt intake...then i picked up one of the rmm superchargers sometime back in 2004...eventually got up to 400rwhp but only 320 ft/lbs of torque...best 1/4 mile time was 13.3 @ 104

i then sold the supercharger to someone on the board (ivan - don't remember his screen name) and bought one of srt's first twin turbo kits (think it was the 2nd one that mo ever built)...meraz and justin did my engine rebuild and then when it came time to put the twin turbo kit on, we didn't like the way it fit so i sold the twin turbo kit to someone on this board (who subsequently sold it to someone else...i wonder if that kit will ever be installed on a gs) and the guys began on building a single turbo kit

so i can't wait to see the final result - anyone here who has done a gs build knows that it takes a while...please refer all technical questions to justin...i don't know as much about the technical aspects of what's under the hood but i write a mean check
Very nice build this is going to be.. All seriousness Justin and the builder should develop a single turbo kit for our cars. Maybe not as in depth as yours but say 400 to 450HP while keeping mostly stock parts. Maybe do like a kit with 3 stages etc... 400 to 800HP .

just an idea as i'm sure many of us would buy this..

I think there were some attempts to build a kit some years back but I think there are major hurdles building a streetable kit. Mainly the space constraints in the engine bay. As you know there's virtually no room to get the exhaust to route upwards (top mount) and route the downpipe back down. And there's no room to mount the turbo(s) down near the transmission without major modification to the chassis which would defeat the purpose of a simple kit. There's a reason there aren't many turbo options for v8 GS owners unfortunately.

Update:
We decided to ditch the twin walbro 255 pumps in favor of an Aeromotive A1000. Gas tank has been dropped and sent out to get boiled and prepped for light fabrication.

Update:
The coils were installed. Larger radiator core from Ron Davis is on order. Once the core comes in and end tanks are fab'd everything else should be downhill since the motor has been dyno tested. I give it a month and a half from now.
