Loud? hmmmm.... depends on your set-up. What are you going to run?

What year was it? I vaguely recall Mazzuris headers had no CEL issues on older 2IS models, but did have them on newer ones, due to some obscure ECU change Lexus made.

Let me know if I've got this right - the PPE headers eliminate the OEM cats. That said, you can purchase a set of Hi-Flow cats from PPE that you can add after the headers (by cutting and welding to the downpipe).

If everything above is accurate and I just get the headers (sans cats), how do we avoid the CEL - O2 sim?

That is correct. You can either get a set of High-flow cats, or we can provide O2 sensor extension that keeps the CEL off when there are no cats (race only ).

This in interesting. I have the Mazzuri headers with a electronic sim of sorts. It prevents the CEL from coming on which is a good thing.

However, I have noticed that the my vehicle now always displays a 'yellow' LED status when monitoring the ODBII system. So it looks like the vehicle hasn't completed some diagnostic sequence even though I have driven over 30,000 miles on the headers.

The OBDII system needs to have a green status to pass emissions in my state.

How complete is your solution in that regard? Any possibility that you would sell the O2 sensor extension separately? I’d like to get one and try it out.
