Default SRT intake

So where is the best place to buy this intake? i found it on lextasy... is that the only place to buy it?

Also....
i drive like 120 miles a day and i hear that it improves the gas mileage... is that really true? i dont really care about the performance increase but any gains in MPG would be great!!

any experience??

Buy it direct from SRT, should be around $600. It will help your mileage as long as you aren't laying into it all the time (flooring it/driving hard). If you don't do that you will get a noticeable increase in mileage.

I'm glad someone brought this up. I'm ready to order the K&N FIPK or SRT. Leaning towards the SRT because of it's proven gains and almost all the members here on CL are happy with it. Also, it's nice to have SRT just minutes from where I live.

Next question. I've searched on youtube and CL for sound clips of the SRT intake but only has one clip of the s/c GS400. Can any GS4 here post sound/video clip of their SRT intake? Looking for clips from outside the car at idle (hood down) and from inside the regular street driving. Heard some complaints of it being too loud. I understand it growls at WOT but was wondering what it sounds like at idle and street driving.

Basic mechanical skills, being able to follow printed instructions EXACTLY and being able to solder.
