I'm going to hit the track tonight and try to take down the #1 1/4 mile spot on the list running pump gas and these Perelli Pzero's. I'll get some video.

Looks like a sleeper to me! Question: Saw an older thread from '08 where you had a build 2jzge bottom end, but now you swapped over to the 2jzgte? Something break on the old engine?

Yea my machine shop modded the stock oil pump on that motor and it led to oil contamination. That motor always started tapping on startup too. I'm much happier with the GTE.

Went to the track last night, the wheel spin was worse than expected, spinning in ever gear but 4th. Ran a 13.4 @ 117 MPH lol only on 16 PSI, spiking to 17psi at the upper RPM in the higher gears... I'm buying some ET Streets today and will try again tomorrow at the same boost level. I want to see what I can do on low boost before adding race gas and turning up the wick.

Well I decided on Nitto 305 40 18 drag radials, just placed the order. I really do need street tires more than anything right now so these will work good I think, no changing tires for the track either. I ran drag radials on my old Viper and always ran well.

You might be right, I was on a full tank of 93 yesterday, next time out I'll be on 1/2 tank, and I'll have Rick lean it out a bit, he's coming to my house tomorrow so we're going to tune it a bit better as it's running a bit fat, and maybe add another 2 psi on the pump gas setting. I'm hoping to get into 11's next time, I need to order a line liock too.. placing that order now.

Sounds great. At your HP level definitly need some sticky tires. I know your signature says your just running a LSD and gs400 diff - any other rear end mods to handle the power during launching? Not sure how strong the rear end in these cars are.

The GS400 rear is identicle internally to the Supra TT LSD, and those are built to hold 9 second passes so I shouldn't have an issue. I'm running a stock 94 TT Supra Automatic LSD.

I ran 13.4 @ 117 MPH lol.. spinning badly in 1st and 2nd, a little in 3rd.

I have more to squeeze out of my pump gas setting, my car was running 10.2 : 1 up top in the 6500 - 8100 RPM range, we leaned that out, that should be good for another 30-40HP, then with my new Nitto 305 - 40 - 18 drag radials I should be able to put my power to the ground and pick up more MPH and E.T.

My goal is to beat the 11.7 @ 120 MPH record on pump gas and 18-19 psi, Then go back out on methanol injection / pump gas at 26 PSI. From there I may run C16 at 32 PSI+ to go for the big times, I really want to beat my personal record of 10.2 @ 142 when I had my old 99 Viper GTS.
