Question Driving Style

Anh - I guess it depends on your driving style. I've ridden in a GS4 with the 2400 rpm T/C & it doesn't launch as hard as mine but I have to remember that I also have the 3.76 geared RMM LSD ( which made a fairly dramatic change in itself ). Actually, I think the LSD ( whether with or w/o the steeper gears ) is a nice mod as it gets the power to the ground. After all, what good does having all the power in the world do ya if it all goes up in tire smoke?? Of course, THAT'S fun, too!! Sounds like you've thought things over well & I'd suggest U go with the 2400 stall convertor. It'll probably flash to around 2600-2700 anyway but I doubt that U'll lose much response or economy since the factory GS4 T/C stalls at close to 1800 rpms ( according to my Lexus tech ). I'd imagine that Pro-Torque could change the stall speed at a later date if U so desire; Precision will give ya a free change within the first year. It'd be cheaper to get it right the first time unless U WANT to pay for another R&R?

Thumbs up No Worries!

Sasha - Just keep driving like a madman!! Seriously, my dealership has changed about half a dozen of these solenoids & mine was the only modded GS. My tech figures that it's not a result of driving style but just a batch of bad parts. Remember that I LIVE in E-shift mode myself!!
