Where can you buy this intake anyway?

...and 4 hp or 5 hp... who cares? You're not going to feel it, and dyno'ing 1 or more hp is like taking a crap and claiming you lost 2 lbs this week.

I'm pretty sure the ARC that the OP has was a prototype - I don't think you can buy it anywhere. That's what makes it so desirable.

ARC's catalog shows a pipe for the 250 and a super induction box also. When I had my Mackin "hook up" call about it they said; they (Mackin) couldn't get one. I never looked into it, but I do think you can source one. Never went any further b/c of the CEL problems I heard it caused.

$800 for 4whp? Maybe desirable to you, but I picked up 120rwhp w/ $1500 in mods on the Supra, so yeah, I'll pass.

You miss the point. Congrats on your price-effective Supra mods.

I don't care how they do it Japan. If I was looking for a few more rwhp, I'd spend $125 on a dyno-tested intake tube and call it a day.

Bingo.

Different strokes for different folks. We all like to spend our money where we feel we get the most value out of something. Some may value JDM/bling/rareness over performance.

I was just being sensational. The point is I don't cream my pants over something simply because it's made in Japan and not that many people have it. I'd rather pay $ for something that is reasonable. BTW I've got a full rare OmG JDM tyTe! Top Secret kit sitting in the basement that's gonna go on the Supra one day when the engine is done, so I'm not a stranger to "JDM". I think people take it way overboard - spending $800 on an intake that acts like a short ram is one example.
