has any one tried to get these to work on our cars. if they didnt fit what was the issue could they be modified with some cutting and welding? just wandering because you can get a set of those for cheap, and would be easier than starting from scratch.

like what i have three welders a plasma cutter chop saws grinders i have the tools just asking what's involved like the collectors close to were if i am redoing my exhaust it wont matter or room issues or steering clearance what are the actual problems with these headers look real close in photos. i know your the header guru so what's the deal is it manageable or just not worth it.

At one time I considered doing the same thing. I have not tried but some over at lextreme have and it seems the collectors interfere with the firewall. Also the steering is very tight and getting 4 tubes around it AND then into the 4-1 collector AND placing that collector to the correct catalyst position would take a LOT of effort if it is possible at all. Passenger side similar except steering clearance.
Anything is possible but more likely you will end up kind of starting with the Tundra headers cutting them apart and building something similar to the S&S headers. Doable? Probably. Practical? You be the judge. Personally I like the smallest pipe size that will support peak power so as to keep as much low end torque as possible. IIRC the Tundra has a 1.625" OD vs 1.5" for the S&S. Your supercharged engine could use the large size at higher RPMs but with a centrifugal SC as you have you will still miss the low RPM snap unless you run a higher than stock stall TC.

On the cutting note, has anyone really had much luck cutting into any Lexus manifold and using a universal flange, because it is impossible to find weldable flanges for these UZ manifolds. Any thoughts?

oh you can get the flanges from lextreme but some of these tundra headers are cheaper than just buying the flanges... what if you dont use the cats? or relocate?
