Yes. I have seen a few sc people do that. I think glens car is one of them.

I really need to do a formal introduction at some point. My car was built by Passen Motorsports in Columbus, OH back when they were still in buisness. It has some really nice custom bent headers, a smaller pulley, PI torque converter, a Kaaz 2-way, Teins, AP Racing 6 Piston BBK, ect...

The hose runs under the blower and faces forward with a K&N cone filter out front. This car is a party!

I have not dynoed it myself. The previous owner made 350 whp on the stock pulley and exhaust manifolds on 93 pump.

Here is another picture.

I spoke with Vortech about a rebuild when the time comes. Mine has a little over 50K miles on it. They were very reasonable on price. I was quoted $700 for the rebuild and full polish of the exterior of the three pieces.

long shot but just wondering for those who actually have this kit. would it be hard to replicate this kit? or something close to it, since vortech still makes the turbine and its not some roots type set up which requires modding the intake manifold.

the hardest part seems to be the adapter bracket for the turbine? once that is replicated, any local shop can pretty much fab the piping and intercooler set up.

here come the pipe dreamers. Gillelexus had some SC brackets designed and a few people have had to do this. im 99% sure Lalex had to also and i think he did the bracket and a few other pieces.i think the parts themselves were close to $1k not counting the SC

Passen built it back in 2001. Here are some overall shots in summer mode on my RPF1's. I know most people will say it needs to be lowered more. I have not adjusted the Tein coilovers yet.

That's EXACTLY what I did on my set up Brian. Need to look on my Hard Drive for pics though. Ran out of space on my laptop.

The previous owner told me he made 19 more whp with that hose disconnected. I tried searching for a cone filter that will fit the end of the supercharger housing, but the strut tower is so close that nothing fits.

Hi everyone, this is my first post, so please don't bash on me too much :P I have an 01 gs430 and I am very interested in a supercharger kit, but unfortunately it is very hard to find :T I googled a few companies and it seems that "Swift Racing Technology" is coming out with a supercharger kit for the 430 and they will be releasing prices, detailed pics, and more information in about 3-4 weeks. This is very exciting news for me, but I'm not too sure if their supercharger kits will be reliable... I'd like to know what you guys think! Thanks!

I have not seen a update on that kit in almost a year. I was really excited when I saw the 2uzfe fitment because my wife has a 4.7L 4runner. I really hope this kit becomes a reality.
