Default Is it possible to do with this exhaust?

Is it possible to get something like this exhaust http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-N1-...item3cad4eaec2 and NOT have any sound? This was just the very FIRST one I looked at so dont judge I dont do rice! LoL This is just for example... Anyways, I was gonna do some exhaust tips so I went in to local shop and got quoted a minimum of $200 bucks! I was like damn for just tips... anyways, all over fleabay you find tons of exhausts like the one for dirt cheap that dont look half bad, so I'd rather get something brand new like that junk install it for a lil bit and call it a day... HOWEVER, I KNOW that exhaust will sound like someone farting down the road. I do not want ANY sound AT ALL, so is it possible to muffle this or any type of muffler?

Lastly, anybody got inexpensive alternatives to achieve what I'm trying... which is a nice rear end? As previously said, I was gonna just do tips and sand the hell out of the stock.... but looks cheaper to do what I said above. Suggestions wanted (please hence the word suggestions not opinions ) thanks

Why dont you try two magnaflow mufflers and tips, like I have on my 430? It has a nice sound only when I step on gas due to the cold air intake system only... See the part numbers in RED and let me know...

MagnaFlow Muffler 4" x 9" Oval 14" Body 2.25" O/O 11235

MagnaFlow SS Tip 4" Diameter 2.5" Inlet 5" Length 35136

(Altogether they came up to be like $175)

If you choose as well, I saw some 4.5" exhaust tips on "fleabay" that go for around $25 shipped, if you dont wanna get the magnaflow ones... I got a pair myself and they look good (i.e. well made - didnt install them as yet though). Cant find the link and I didnt take any pics of them (sorry)...

Check out my "2001 GS430 Progress Pics" thread to get an idea of how the magnaflow system will look from the back...

Hope that helps you out a bit!

Stealth (5tea1th or something like that) made a thread about his custom JP exhaust. Search "custom JP" and he just welded on an exhaust tip to the stock exhaust. 12 x 3.5 x 2.25. I found a deal on ebay, $44 shipped for a pair of stainless steel t-304.

Yea I've seen that thread (hence when I mentioned sanding the stockers down ) also why I'm stll searching ebay cause wow, there are 88,000 tips to look at its all about finding the right one you know. The ones he found though had too sharp of an angle though, but yea thats exactly what I'd like to do, but hell if I can find a complete weld on exhaust set up for the same price... why not!

Yea, well $175 is basically what I was quoted and as mentioned, I do not want ANY sound at all. Just my opinion that it cheapens the GS if it aint got a rocket under the hood, its bad enough people are trying to race my GS on 22's cant imagine what they would do hearing an exhaust... I'm really just wanting cosmetic. HOWEVER, with all our resonators, will they stop all the sound? Did you remove your resonators? I'm gonna check your thread out for details.
