Talking NOS Update GS400

Yes! I didn't want to spend the money on a supercharger so I whent over to NOS in Pomona. They informed me of a procedure they started with Vipers and carried it over to others. They said it will work on the Lexus GS400 however it is not an "approved kit". They would have to run several dynos and tests before marketing. However they said they inform any shop how to do it and send the parts.

Fogger system not wet with fuel, because fuel was never ment to go through the manifold. Wet with propane! Yes Propane w/ NOS 75-125 shot. Yes you have to run a propane bottle (small as you can find) it last looooong time. Saw his camero run, holly sh$#. 200 shot this way. fogger into the throttle body. Said their shop could do it 8hrs. 600.00-800.00 bones.
I am going to get mine dyno'd before (next week) and after and have all the print-out and make sure it is running well with the mixture.
I will post after the Dyno after NOS.

Default Propane???

I knew you could use propane with diesel, but I didn't know it could be used with NOS...How long did this company use NOS with propane on the viper???

Anyways keep us updated on the NOS...

I'm running a shot/w propane it works good. I'm running a 250 shot now which is about 200 to the wheels, or about 640rwhp

PS get a RPM window switch, that's unless your God (in which case you will never make a mistake ) A window switch will save your motor when you do, and you will, make a mistake.

It works like any nitrous system except using propane rather than gasoline. There is really nothing mysterious about it, works the same as a gasoline shot. You really can't compare the Viper to a Lexus as far as which is the best system. Propane is safer for your car than gasoline, but a gasoline system done right should be just as good. A 200 shot is typical on a Viper with either gasoline or propane.

Some advantages:
-Propane is very high in octane
-A nitrous backfire will not blow your intake manifold through your hood
-Timing retard is not needed until you run a bigger shot. Due to higher octane
-no brown smoke when spraying (tell tail sign of spraying)
-Propane comes out as a gas rather than liquid like gasoline

PS I use a 1 gallon propane bottle which lasts for about ~75-100 lb of nitrous.

1Slow – 14.63 @ 88.4 ???? Was that in reverse?

I liked 18 year old girls when I was 18. Why wouldn't I like them now?- George Burns

Gotta love that George Burns quote – wish I’d said it first!

That's classic! I did a 14.1@65 once.

Hey have you ever run into Jeff Hackman down in Miami with that Viper? He's got a Silverish Blue 95 SC300 with a few bolt-ons.

Don't know who he is, but I'm always up for a good race I've heard rumors of a Lexus in Miami that had some 700 or 800 rwhp  is that him?

BTW I have a set of ported heads that I'm going to be installing in the next week or two, I'm expecting 700rwhp on spray
