Default good news to all 2IS 300 owners - rotrex supercharger

Found a supercharger kit for our cars... who wants to be the first to try this kit?

looks to be for the is350.

i heard from a buddy who works at Toyota HQ...IS250 would be hard to run forced induction as the compression ratio is too high and its impossable to get the AFC settings as its locked by toyota

*shrugs*....im going single turbo with a 2jzgte in my future track car..maybe mk4..(crossed fingers))

The 350 is just as difficult (CR is nearly identical as are the computer/tuning issues).

The difference is the 250 is considerably less worth trying, as you can add 102 hp for $3500 by just buying a 350 instead.

A number of folks have successfully done 5-6 lb supercharger kits on the 350, just not cheaply enough that anyone else would want to buy them commercially for the minor gains.

One user claims 7.5 psi on a 350 (though he got it in an odd and not necessarily safe way, and has yet to provide any dyno or a/f or tune data at all)
