Default Do you guys think F-Sport exhaust is too loud?

Hi Everyone. I am new here. I just got my 2010 IS250 on April. I couldn't wait to mod my car so I went to dealership got my F-sport Air intake and exhaust installed. But now I found the exhaust is sound pretty loud inside the car. I thought this exhaust might be same as G37 exhaust at first. Its loud when you drive slow, but quite when you drive on highway. Is that normal for F sport exhaust sound loud even when you drive very fast? (around 90mph)

I love the F-Sport exhaust - it's not obnoxiously loud, but I can see why people would think its too loud.

Speed doesn't determine the sound; its your revs - you'll find the exhaust cuts off around 3000-3500 rpm (and then your intake will take over )

I think you should've gotten Lexus HKS exhaust but it's discontinued and replaced by F- Sport. Former is a lot quieter and just what you are looking for G35 kind of sound but not too loud.

I have not seen the real sound comparision but exhaust body comparision posted here. I don't really pay attention especially when the music is playing.

Like Terrrrry said, it's the revs. Give it some time, you'll learn to control the sound of the exhaust by controlling the throttle better . If you still don't like it, either go back to stock or switch to something else, it is just a bolt-on after all

naa, i don't think its too loud at all.

love the sound. - it sounds louder in the cabin of the car - but i had my wife drive my car and i followed in hers and heard it outside the car

let me tell you, its an awsome sounding exhaust. - not too loud, ballsy sounding and suites the car well.

Sounds perfect, although uphill climbs it gets pretty loud and I feel bad for passengers if they don't want to listen haha.

the Greddy SE is in between the Tanabe and the F-Sport for loudness, is this correct?

my innate hatred of automatic ricer Civics with fartcans prevents me from wanting a 'loud' exhaust for this car, so I'm looking for one that's just loud enough, with no drone/resonance under deceleration
