I also used this DIY for my Spectrum Elite a few weeks ago. My actual procedure is a bit different but overall it's about the same. Took me around 1hour. Change your own exhaust, it is quite easy job.

Dam you do a lot of nice DIY's........did you just "tighten" the bolts or did you have to torque them to some spec?

yeah i just tightened them with a regular 14mm socket wrench...my exhaust is on a little crooked though, i'll have to take time some day to "wiggle" it into place.

Perfect write up. I will be using this soon as I am now looking for an exhaust for my 350. I am thinking this Greddy or the F-Sport.

Mine is a little crooked too. What and how do you adjust the exhaust so the tips on both sides are even?

Just a quick question. My midpipe is rusted and leaking so i want to get an aftermarket exhaust. i have heard sound clips of this one and i really like it. its not to loud in the cabin of the car which is a plus. i was just wondering if this comes with a mid pipe or is that something i would have to get extra from invidia or something? thank you very much

The greddy and most other exhausts for our cars are axle backs, meaning it has nothing to do with the midpipe. Its only the mufflers and the connecting Y pipe.

If your looking for another midpipe, you can get an invidia or megan midpipes. Be careful because aftermarket midpipes will make your car loud.

Yeah I didn’t think it would come with the mid pipe. I don’t want anything that loud either. Id like to keep it a little quiet so I can continue to utilize that luxury feature I just want this car to be my good daily driver. ive already got my toy car (Twin Turbo'd 350z) maybe an after market mid pipe with the stock axel back will make a decent tone thats not to loud? Im only asking about an after market mid pipe because theyre actually cheaper than buying a stock one. Thank you for the response and i dont mean to thread jack the op's beatifully done DIY very nice btw
