Yay Another Invidia mid pipe + F-Sport Exhuast / Intake Video Review
So i too went ahead and ordered an Invidia midpipe Through CircuitMS. They are by far the cheapest vendor here on clublexus and the midpipe came a day early
Had the midpipe installed that same day at SonicMS. Props to D. and the crew
So how do i like it?
Its LOUD! I LOVE IT! By far the best sounding V6 out there.
Hows the quality?
The quality overall is Fantastic. i Give it an A+. The parts Bolted right on into place, very nice shiny finish. The welds were on point as-well
Hows the drone?
You have a very minor cabin drone when accelerating, but after you level off there is slim - to no drone depending on the speed. When your at 80 MPH on cruise control on the free way, there is a slight slight slight slight drone ( No music). Anything under 80MPH, at a steady constant pace has no drone.
If i could would i do it again?
Yes definitely! Changed the way the car sounded over all. Now the aggressive sound fits my aggressive look on my IS 350. It is LOUD, but very TOLERABLE!

False. nissan VQ 3.5L with an exhaust is the best sounding V6 out there.
but thats not to say yours sounds bad...but if you're comparing yours to a VQ, hands down, VQ sounds better IMO of course. yours does sound mean as **** tho! congrats!

I haven't heard any V6 that sounds better than nissan/infiniti yet
isn't that why EVERYONE tries to make their IS sound like G35/350Z ??

OP, your set-up sounds sick regardless~!! and I'm pretty sure it sounds way nicer in person

. Try shifting then letting go, it'll shift faster, not stepping on it. BTW exhaust sounds great!!

LOL, I pretty much drive like that all day... I confuse people like crazy and if you get good at it you can get a little backfire from the exhaust ( a pop no flame) lol. If you check out my exhaust video you can hear the shifting, no backfire, hadnt figured it out yet.

It sounds very aggressive. I find the sound to be appropriately aggressive for a car that can do 0 to 60 in just under 5 seconds. If I heard a standard econobox civic sound like that, I might think "rice" initially, but not with a car of this caliber.
If I could make a suggestion, perhaps you should also make a daily driving video with music on at volume 30-40, as I suspect most of us young folk on CL drive around with music blasting on a daily basis.
I don't normally drive around with music off, so any potentially irritating drone at cruising speeds that is only audible with music off is not entirely relevant - for me at least.
If there is a drone at cruising speed and it is not audible with music on (volume 30-40), then that would be just perfect.
