Default Quick question about Joez intake

OK so i am about to buy a Joe-z intake and i see that many people drill holes in the lower intake box. Accompanied with that what drop in filter would be the best for HP gains. I don't care about the price, i want to know what filter would be the best to pair up with the intake. Input and links would be gladly appreciated. Thanks

Most filters will be around the same gains. I have Blitz, some have K&N, others have HKS, Tom's, or F-Sport.

if you really don't car about price, how about tom's? lol

i personally avoid wet filters. e.g. k&n, f-sport.

you won't see much in gains in aftermarket filters over paper. at most it's going to be 1hp.

I've used the JoeZ with both the K&N and HKS filter. There is no magic combination - you will get about 5whp with the intake. I personally prefer the dry filter (HKS, etc) because I don't want to chance any MAF issues. Plus, it's super easy to clean.

Don't lose any sleep about choosing a filter.

many say grilling holes makes you lose power, but it make it sound 100 times better ! i have joez with grilling holes + K&N for two years now still love the sound of it.
