Default Has anyone tried the F Sport Quick Shifter?

I couldn't find any reviews on it. Does anybody know how it performs? Does it feel way better, or is it just a waste of money to have it installed?

Thanks

Aaron

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. I was hoping that would help that situation. I just got my used 08 IS 2 weeks ago, and it just felt too loose compared to my 02 Toyota Celica. If I buy one from Sewell Lexus, where do you think I should get it installed? Dealer? I live in San Diego, do you have any recommendations?

It definitely feels better shifting. Not like mi Civic or Integra short shifter, but a lot less throw.

Thanks guys for all the opinions. This has definitely solidified my decision to get one. Now it's just the wait till I can afford it. Hopefully the next paycheck is good to me.

I'm gonna install the quick shifter this weekend. Any tips?

Also, the manual says that a seal packing by toyota is required. I don't have that. What do yall use for that?

I just wanted to let you guys know that I got my shifter installed today from Lexus of Escondido for only 65 bucks!! It feels amazing, the shifts are short and clicky, instead of long and mushy. It was the best 265 I spent, 200 shipped from sewell, and 65 for install. BTW anyone by San Diego should go to Lexus of Escondido, the best service ever!!! Also they have an awesome golf simulator, I spent an hour and a half hitting ***** in there. Haha

Nice! If I knew my dealership was only going to charge 65 for install, I woulda done it there instead of trying to do it myself. THAT E-RING is a freaking PAIN. I actually never got it fully on. Tried for hours too... =[

Seems like everyone got an issue with Ering removal and installation. Any tips before I do it this weekend?
