**New Details on my Powerhouse Racing Turbo**
Well, the time is rapidly approaching for me to pick up my car. I now have the details of my turbo setup and I figured I would share the info with everyone. My turbo kit is the stage 2 powerhouse racing setup. Here is a brief description from PHR's website:
- PHR cast-steel exhaust manifold
- external wastegate
- PHR GT60 series turbocharger
- 3" downpipe
- air intake piping with K&N air filter
- PHR fuel system upgrade (including 550 cc injectors, Supra TT
fuel pump, fuel regulator, ...)
- front-mounted intercooler with 2.5" intercooler plumbing
- PHR 3mm metal head gasket
- HKS EVC IV - Silver (Limited Edition) Boost Controller
- Electronics
In addition, I have added the new Apexi EL II gauges. I will be the first person in the US with these gauges since they are not available in the US yet. We had them imported from Japan, and if you are interested in purchasing them call Dusty at MVP Motorsports (817-439-4888). Mention to Dusty that you heard this from Marc with the PHR turbo IS and he will hook you up. The Apexi EL II gauges have the control box, so you can playback all three simultaneously. In addition, they are much thinner than traditional gauges since the electronics are located in the brain control module. Finally, I also bought the HKS Carbon Fiber Titanium exhaust from Dusty at MVP Motorsports.
I think that covers the performance side of the car. I am picking the car up very soon and I will have dyno sheets posted in the very near future.
Remember there is going to be a meet at Powerhouse Racing in Fort Worth, Texas on August 17. If you have any interest in this meet check out this thread:
