Default Joe Z intake installed and Drilled

Just installed my Joe Z intake and also drilled the lower airbox for extra noise. Two photos below.

I have one concern though. After letting the car idle for over 10minutes. I decided to put the engine cover back on. After putting the engine cover on, i realised that the top right corner of the engine cover actually ends up resting on the Joe Z pipe and I get an annoying vibration. Is this normal? or must I maybe loosen the Clips and twist the Joe Z slightly?

Thanks

Looks Great in the RHD engine bay.... !!!

This is correct.. "or must I maybe loosen the Clamps and twist the Joe Z slightly?"

The bottom of your engine cover should have foam on it.

Best Regards,

Thanks for your reply Joe Z.

The bottom of my engine cover does have foam but where it meets the intake pipe it doesnt seem to have foam.

I'll try twisting the intake pipe into a better position and hopfully the engine cover wont touch. Otherwise i'll try and get hold of some of that foam from somewhere and just glue a small amount onto the underneath of the engine cover where it meets the pipe

I've sorted the problem with the engine cover touching the intake pipe. I just loosened the clips and twisted the pipe so the high part goes down.

I went for a test drive and car sounds awesome above 3500rpm
