Default Megan midpipe....need help!!

i just installed my megan midpipe with stock axle-back.....why mine sounds like a motocycle what you guys think is leaking air

you reinstalled the o2's properly? didnt twist the wire?

also, are you certain the gaskets were on properly?

i guess i need to go back to the shop where i did the installation. but for the check vsc and engine it just came 2 days after the installation.

yup its definitely leaking somewhere! lol @ shop did your install better take a look at it yourself... you could try some color smoke to see where its leak from.

if the O2 sensors were messed up in the process of installing the mid pipe, that could be a problem too.

Yes, it will cause the o2 sensors to throw a cel because the air is leaking out before it can read it, most likely throwing a rich condition or an o2 sensor "failure" cel. Get your codes checked, reinstall the midpipe, and if you understand the codes that were thrown, clear your ecu by pulling the fuses.

do these things at your own risk, btw.

same as my friend car, all those light came on after one day installed the midpipe, but his car not sound like that, look like your car sound like broken muffler like

On my car, after install this mid-pipe, I hate their drone sound. My friend suggest to change the rubber which hang the pipe with Urethane.

thats not gonna stop the drone.....it may stop your exhaust from squeaking while it shimmies around, but thats it.
