No, sir. The car in its "former" state was bone stock, other than the turbo of course.
I wanted to see how the car responded for a customer who is also stock & just wants to install the turbo & be done with it. Based on the stories that I was able to write & the experiences that I've had that weren't written about...I'd say they are VERY favorable.
I'm contemplating the valve body upgrade, so that I may have sufficient feedback for those who are more hardcore racers, but still want to maintain their luxurability (is that a word, it is today I guess).
If all goes as planned time-wise, I'm hopinh to have the car by early November, as there's a lot going on in the SRT stables as far as cars waiting for work to be done.
It won't be pretty the next time that car sees the street again.

thinking about hiring more ppl to do the installation works so R&D can be done for the "Supra N/A / SC non-vvti" turbo yet?
i'm sure we are all waiting anxiously here for that to be ready

lexlyf ,
I thought u caught me in the words there but if you re-read my message carefully, i think i said so R&D can be DONE yet
unless u wanna rephrase your comments and say
What makes you think that SRT hasn't already 'finished' R&D for that?
if so, then all he11 will break lose

Now you know that good professional kits come with complete fuel management (injectors & ECU) even with 5 psi kits!
None of our current kits have half decent fuel mgmt support!

What if someone is living outside the US and is interested in Stage4/5 ? how much will it cost for the kit w/o installation?
Is it possible to push stage 4 alittle bit more maybe 450rwhp? bigger injectors will help ?

While everyone is awaiting the numbers for the Stage 2 and 3 kits just remember that the stage 1 is upgradeable to the stage 2 and 3 kits.
The projected numbers for the stage 2 is 310+RWHP and the stage 3 in the 350+RWHP range. Remember there will also be a stage 4 with 425+RWHP and a stage 5 with 500+ RWHP.
The projected prices for the kits:
Stage 2: $4,995
Stage 3: $5,995
Stage 4: $11,995 includes labor to install at SRT
Stage 5: $19,995 includes labor to install at SRT
I know everyone has numerous questions and we will do our best to answer them.
Once again we thank you for your support to SRT.

I read through the thread but I am still a little confused. If an auto IS is used with the kit, can the tranny take the power? What 1.4 mile #'s do you expect with the manual and auto tranny? Thanks

I would recommend jumping from Stage 2 to Stage 4 instead of Stage 3. For just 30 extra hp, I would just go all the way and do compression. I was also contemplating Stage 3, but I'm so so glad that I went with stage 4. Believe me you will also.

lol i would love to, but 5000 to 6000 is only $1000 differece. From stage 2 to stage 4 is $7000 differnt. I was just wondering what gives the stage 3 the extra 40rwhp. And turboisman, did you order your kit straihgt from SRT and have them install it?
