Wow, man. I know you're newer, but sheesh. Ya gotta look around a bit. The "search" button will give you a ton of info.

To lend a quick hand, though, here's your first tip: unless you're really good with a wrench, your best bang for your buck is trading in for a GS400 or 430.

wow NSW - an aussie... welcome mate... GS3's are rare enough down there let alone finds a GS4... and with a GS4, petrol prices would be unbearable by the litre...

but what is your budget and how much are you willing to spend... there are intake, header, exhaust options... do you also have a speedshop that can tune?

there is a 1uz following in Aussie...heck, they make independent Throttle Bodies down there or our 1uz motor. You can do a turbo on your GS3, or just intake header, exhaust

Yeah, we didn't get the GS400 or GS430. Would be a lovely conversion but the regulators would quickly pull the pin.

Was thinking about intake and chipping by a specialist tuner. Some cars are more successful than others.

That's why - yes I could search - but I wanted to know what works best.

Cheers

Agreed! There is a HUGE GS4XX following in Australia! Most of the extreme SC setups come from there and most utilizing the M90 or the next size up for their custom SC kits. As you can see from some recent threads we (ClubLexus) are just starting to talk about this notion in this performance section.

If intake and tune is all your looking for the SRT intake/chip combo is all you need. Proven gains, no specialist tuner shop needed, all plug and play for like about $500ish..

There are a ton of threads to search about this intake for more specific info about it, that will all state that this intake system is what works best on an otherwise stock 300.
