Default Exhaust Opinion - Top Speed Pro-1

I am looking the Top Speed Pro-1 exhaust as I don't care to spend to much on a exhaust. If I did, it would end up being the tanabe touring for being uber quiet.

Does anyone here have this exhaust as I've found 2 clips and one isn't the exact same muffler and the other appears to be a full setup and rev'd without a load. This doesn't always give a good representation of the setup. In fact it makes me a bit cautious. Then I compare it to the 3GS 350H with the setup and it's perfect.

Over Rev'd

Almost what I am looking for

Perfect!!

Are you looking at the oval mufflers or the canister ones?

Sounds kinda "ricey" at high rpm to me

well, I won't be running the engine and high RPM's and it isn't surprising since the 2JZ-GE is a supra engine even in a NA spec. At the lower daily driver RPM's is what I am after, sorta a mellow grunt akin to say a M5 or better yet a Merc AMG.

I agree it does sound good at low rpm, but just compared to other exhausts (like hks and borla) it seems to "fall apart" at high rpm. But yea for what you want it should be fine.

I was going to go with a Tanabe setup, but because I am not using the car anymore than a daily driver. It doesn't make sense to put an exhaust on the car that is 1/10th the value of the vehicle. Don't get me wrong I am not one to skimp on parts having been modding cars for the last 15 years. I do believe in getting more value for what my needs are. I am also considering doing a Borla, Magna Flow or custom done on the car.
