hey guys i plan to buy a sd performance supercharger kit for my car. i have the is300 asia unit. check out this link: http://www.sd-performance.com/eng/sh...t.asp?psid=229

i already emailed sd performance and ask the most important question how will i tune the ecu box. their answer is to use HKS IS F-CON or TRUST GReedy E-manage Ultimate. Can i use this to control the a/f ratio or the ecu will just recorrect them like what i read in some post in CL. i had some problems with emange ultimate before on my lexus so trying to avoid using that. Never used a HKS IS F-Con before.

do you guys suggest i buy this kit or i'll have a hard time tuning this?

Those are good questions. I have seen some local Philippine forums about this kit. In general, the kit is made exactly for your car. So if you trust what they say, you should be fine. The 2nd gen IS300 uses port injecton only whereas the US IS250 use direct injection, IS350 using both. LOL

The price seems very reasonable. I am guessing that is without installation labor but still a good price.

so if my car uses a port injection type of fueling can the hks is f-con control the fueling of my car? i will need to be sure of this first before purchasing the supercharger... i want everything to be bolt on. thanks!
