so i am debating whether to remove the stock mufflers or resonators..everything on my car is stock... im planning to remove the mufflers and replace them with straight pipes or removing the resonators and replacing them with straight pipes. both sound good but i think that by removing the mufflers the car sounds better.. my main concern is that by removing the stock mufflers i will actually lose power or torque? or am i just crazy? i get mixed facts some people say that by removing mufflers i lose back pressure thus lossing some torque and power but others say that for v8's it will help breathe better especially with the stock piping ... some say that removing the mufflers will help the car and others disagree.. any input advice is greatly appreciated..
